BEIJING, CHINA – Watch these 2 impressive and exclusive videos of the Chengdu J-20 on National Day Parade in China on October 1, 2019 and at the 2018 China Airshow in Zhuhai. The J-20 is a massive single-seat, twin-engine, 5th gen stealth fighter made in China -developed and manufactured by China’s Chengdu Aerospace Corporation for the Republic of China Air Force (ROCAF), also known as the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF). The J-20 flew for the first time on January 11, and was officially revealed in 2016 at the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition. The aircraft entered service in March 2017 and began its combat training phase in September 2017. The first J-20 combat unit was formed in February 2018. It’s the world’s 3rd operational 5th-gen stealth fighter aircraft after the Lockheed Martin F-22 and F-35, and China’s answer to the 2 American stealth fighters. Recently Russia’s Sukhoi Su-57 became the 4th operational 5th generation stealth fighter aircraft.
