ZHUKOVSKY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, RUSSIA – The 2019 edition of the MAKS International Aviation and Space Salon was again one to remember! Awesome demos with great pilots showing their amazing skills in older 4th Gen fighter jets, but also in the latest 5th Gen fighter jet: the high tech Sukhoi Su-57 with its stealth capabilities like its adversaries from the west, the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor and the newer F-35 Lightning II.

In this video – filmed by flyhigh.news chief editor Jerry Taha – you can see all the incredible maneuvers of the Su-57, performed by Sukhoi test pilot Sergey Bogdan on August 31, during the Saturday show of MAKS 2019 at Zhukovsky International Airport, 25 miles southeast of Moscow.

Sergey Bogdan was awarded the title of the Hero of the Russian Federation on July 28, 2011.

Unlike in past MAKS editions, this year we finally see the Su-57 being pushed to the limits of what the 5th gen fighter jet is capable of, to the delight of the thousands of spectators attending the airshow.
