HELICOPTER CRASHES INTO BUILDING IN MANHATTAN

NEW YORK – A helicopter crash-landed onto a roof of a building in Midtown Manhattan, New York. One death has been reported, according to the New York City Fire Department (FDNY). The pilot was the only person aboard the helicopter. No one else was injured in the crash.

The plane crashed Monday afternoon on a building at 7th Avenue, near Times Square. The weather was foggy and rainy at the time of the accident. The crash caused a fire, but it was quickly extinguished. The building has been evacuated.

According to New York governor Andrew Cuomo, the helicopter tried to make an emergency landing on the roof. He also said there was no indication that it was an act of terrorism.

President Donald Trump has been informed of the situation. According to the White House, the President keeps an eye on new developments, regarding the helicopter crash.
