LONDON, ENGLAND – Last weekend was again a challenging weekend for pilots, when storm Dennis raged particularly over Ireland, the UK and The Netherlands, but also in other countries in Western Europe and Scandinavia people were feeling the strength of storm Dennis. Pilots had to battle the extreme crosswinds and gusts on short final to land their aircraft safely. As a result passengers and crew members were experiencing some hairy moments, but at the same time all of the action caused many exciting moments for plane spotters and spectators at airports in England and The Netherlands.
