SANTIAGO, CHILE – Last week the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team performed at FIDAE 2022 Air & Trade Show in Santiago, Chile, April 5-10, 2022. Throughout the week, the team showcased the Raptor’s air superiority, interacted with the crowd and reinforced the importance of the relationship between Chile and the U.S. This preform video was filmed on April 8, 2022 by USAF Staff Sgt. The F-22 Demo Team is led by pilot and commander Maj. Joshua ‘Cabo’ Gunderson, and the team is stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Hampton, Virginia. The F-22 Demo Team performs precision aerial maneuvers at airshows across the world to demonstrate the unique capabilities of the world’s premier 5th gen. fighter aircraft. The team consists of the pilot, safety officer, superintendent, team chief, multiple crew chiefs, and avionics specialists, public affairs and aircrew flight equipment technicians.
FIDAE (Feria Internacional Del Aire y del Espacio) aims to be the leading aerospace, defense and security fair in the Americas, capable of adapting to a changing market and delivering an excellent service to exhibitors, visitors and citizens.
Therefore at this biennial, international exhibition FIDAE provides opportunities for technological and commercial networking and to the organizations that participate to generate a greater aeronautical awareness on the part of the national community.
