AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS – KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is celebrating its 100th anniversary since October 7, 2019. KLM is The Netherlands’ flag carrier and officially the oldest airline in the world. Last Friday KLM published a stunning video of its impressive history with its home base Amsterdam Schiphol Airport in a fifties setting. Watch as time flies through KLM’s history, from KLM’s workhorse of the fifties – the Douglas DC-4 Skymaster to the Fokker F27, the Boeing 747 and the airline’s latest passenger aircraft – the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
