WestJet Boeing 737 MAX 8

THE BOEING 737 MAX WILL FLY AGAIN THIS SUMMER

SEATTLE – The Boeing 737 MAX will probably fly again in August this Summer. According to the Seattle Times, the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) will give permission at the end of May to put the grounded 737 MAX back into service.

Due to 2 fatal accidents with the Boeing 737 MAX, the aircraft type was grounded worldwide last March. Aircraft manufacturer Boeing has since been working on a software update to ensure that the MCAS-system will work properly.

Many airlines worldwide lost millions due to the loss of capacity of the 737 MAX fleet.
