PUTIN SHOWS ERDOGAN SECRET COCKPIT OF RUSSIA’S BRAND NEW SU-57 STEALTH FIGHTER AT MAKS 2019

ZHUKOVSKY AIRPORT, RUSSIA – Earlier this week President Erdogan from Turkey was invited by President Putin of Russia to see Russia’s Su-57 fifth generation fighter at the 2019 MAKS International Aviation and Space Airshow at Moscow’s Zhukhovsky Airport on August 27, 2019.

Erdogan is looking for a replacement for the F-35 Lightning II, after the U.S. excluded Turkey from the F-35 program, due to Turkey receiving Russian S-400 anti-air missiles earlier.

Erdogan was given the opportunity to look into the top secret cockpit of the Sukhoi Su-57 on display. Erdogan asked Putin whether it was available for sale. Putin smiled and said, “Yes, you can buy it,” the Associated Press reported.

Earlier this month Erdogan was considering to buy the Sukhoi Su-35 as an alternative to the F-35.
