American flight skids off runway at O’Hare as early snowstorm disrupts hundreds of flights

CHICAGO O’HARE AIRPORT – An American Eagle Embraer ERJ-145 slid off the runway Monday morning at Chicago O’Hare International Airport due to snowy conditions and blustery winds. POSSIBLE HIJACK OF AIRCRAFT AT AMSTERDAM AIRPORT

AMSTERDAM AIRPORT, NETHERLANDS – Emergency services have rushed to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. A spokesperson for the Koninklijke Marechaussee (Royal Dutch Military Police) speaks of a “suspicious situation” on board of an aircraft at Schiphol Airport, the third busiest airport in Europe. It seems to be a hijacking of an aircraft, sources within the Marechaussee report.
