MADRID, SPAIN – Spain is suspending all air traffic to and from Italy for 2 weeks due to the coronavirus, the Spanish government officially said in a state bulletin on Tuesday. Spain joins airlines from other European countries like British Airways, Norwegian and Wizz Air in suspending all flights to Italy, which has been locked down since yesterday due to the coronavirus outbreak.
“The measure applies to all direct flights from airports in Italy to Spain,” the state bulletin said in a measure, which would come into force at midnight 12:00 AM local time and will remain in force until March 25.
