Evacuation slide fell off Delta plane

EVACUATION SLIDE FELL OFF DELTA PLANE

MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS – The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has launched an investigation after an emergency slide fell from a Delta Airlines Boeing 767 on Sunday. The slide crashed into a resident’s yard in Milton, Massachusetts. No injuries were reported.

The incident occured on Delta Flight 405 from Paris to Boston. Just before the landing in Boston, the pilots of the Boeing 767-300ER heard an unusually loud noise, probably caused by the slide being released. The pilots then landed the aircraft without any problems.

The slide crashed into a man’s front yard, just a few meters from where he was having a conversation with his neighbor at the time. “If that thing had hit us, we would’ve been dead. It is so heavy,” the man said to the Boston Herald.

Delta Air Lines has confirmed the incident and has started its own investigation to what could have caused the evacuation slide to fell off.
