HAMBURG, GERMANY – Miniatur Wunderland shares a wonderful Christmas video of Santa playing the Christmas classic Jingle Bells – sitting on a Thai A380 model’s wing, hitting bottles filled with a specific amount of water to produce the right music tones for the song. Miniatur Wunderland (MiWuLa) is the largest model railway in the world with it’s own city and airport. It’s located in the historic district of Hamburg: Speicherstadt. The driving forces behind this venture are twin brothers Frederik and Gerrit Braun and their younger half-brother Sebastian Drechsler.
Knuffingen is a fictional city in Miniatur Wunderland. Knuffingen International Airport is based on Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel airport and consists of a miniature airport with more than 40 actual taxiing, taking-off and landing model aircraft and moving airport traffic. It’s the largest miniature airport in the world.
