Airbus Beluga XL in operational service

TOULOUSE, FRANCE – The next-generation Airbus Beluga XL begins regular operations in facilitating Airbus’ production ramp-up across the company’s commercial aircraft programmes. The Beluga XL (officially an A330-743L) is a large transport aircraft based on the Airbus A330 passenger aircraft. The #BelugaXL entered service with Airbus Transport on January 9, 2020 to replace the Airbus Beluga and made its first flight on July 19, 2018. It made its first operational flight on January 9, 2020 and on January 20, 2019 the remarkable aircraft entered operational service.
