STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – Thursday July 25, 2019 was the busiest day ever in the international aviation industry. More than 230,000 flights were observable via flight tracking service Flightradar24. The popular flight tracking site reported that 225,000 flights took place on Wednesday.
The animated image that was recorded in Flightradar24’s tweet on Thursday shows the incredibly busy airspace above Europe, North America and Southeast Asia.
Flightradar24 is a very popular Swedish internet-based service that shows real-time commercial aircraft flight information on a map. It includes flight tracks, origins and destinations, flight numbers, aircraft types, positions, altitudes, headings and speeds.
