The year 2020 is now already the worst year in aviation history worldwide, due to the massive impact of the coronavirus outbreak. The COVID-19 outbreak continues to spread around the world rapidly, which causes smaller airlines to go bankrupt and even the world’s largest airlines are heaving a hard time surviving. Some governments are doing their best to help their flag carriers – like KLM, Air France, Emirates, Delta and American – to survive in any way.

The aviation world is trying to survive the coronavirus – airports, borders and even countries are closed and thousands of flights are cancelled due to travel bans.

“There are probably 800 airlines – of which 200, 300 are quite large ones – and we look at coming out of this in 5 or 6 months with maybe a 10th of that,” chairman Peter Harbison of the CAPA Centre for Aviation said on the impact of the #coronavirus:
