MANCHESTER – February 11, 2019. Something remarkable occured today when Jet2holidays Flight LS155 from Glasgow to Tenerife diverted to Manchester. For what reason? There was no water on board for hot drinks…
The Boeing 737 from Jet2holidays, took off from Glasgow in Scotland at 8.55 am. Its destination was Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands. It was forced to divert to Manchester less than an hour from departure.
It was flying over Cork in the Republic of Ireland when it was redirected, the Daily Record reports.

A spokeswoman for Jet2 confirmed: “There was a technical issue with water on board. There wasn’t water for teas and coffees.
She added that passengers had been transferred onto another flight to Tenerife and were being “well looked after”.
Many passengers were not happy at all with the disruption, as they took to social media to share their frustrations about their experience with Jet2Holidays.
