CCTV FOOTAGE RELEASED OF AMAZON ATLAS AIR B767 CRASH INTO TRINITY BAY

CHAMERS COUNTY – A Chilling video shows the final moments of the Amazon flight over Texas as it plunges into Trinity Bay killing all 3 men on board. The Atlas Air flight 3591 was captured hitting Trinity Bay by a police security camera. The Boeing 767 was carrying packages for Amazon and the US Postal Service when it crashed on February 23.

The video shows the B767 speeding overhead before nosediving to the ground. A huge plume of debris and water can then be seen on the horizon, when it crashed into Trinity Bay. Sheriff Brian Hawthorne said: ‘you can see it exploded, not by fire’.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) had temporarily blocked the video’s release after police discovered it a day after the crash on February 23. The video is released 4 days after the NTSB recovered the Black Box of the B767.

On March 3, 2019 the NTSB recovered the flight data recorder from the cargo jet that crashed into Trinity Bay, near Anahuac, TX. FDR being transported to NTSB labs in DC for evaluation. Video: CBS affiliate KHOU-TV

The Boeing 767 dropped into Trinity Bay killing the 3 people aboard after losing more than 3,000 feet of altitude in 30 seconds, according to tracking data from FlightAware.com.

Capt. Ricky Blakely (60), First Officer Conrad Aska (44) and Sean Archuleta (36), all died on board the doomed flight.
