Nordwind Airlines Airbus A321 hard landing at Antalya Airport damaged landing gear

AN AIRBUS A321’S LANDING GEAR WAS BADLY DAMAGED DURING A HARD LANDING AT ANTALYA AIRPORT

ANTALYA, TURKEY – An Russian A321 from Nordwind Airlines made a very hard landing at Antalya Airport in Turkey on Friday, damaging the nose gear, which partially penetrated the cabin, just behind the cockpit. Nobody was injured.

The Airbus A321 with registration VQ-BRS, had just arrived from Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport in Russia.

It is unclear why Flight N41801 ended with such a hard landing. According to AirportHaber, smoke had entered the cabin, shortly before the incident occured.
