VOLKEL AIR BASE, NETHERLANDS – A rare sight nowadays, but what an awesome one; 2 Hellenic Air Force F-4E Phantom II’s departing from Volkel AB in the Netherlands on June 17, 2019 (Departure Day) after the Luchtmachtdagen 2019 Airshow, the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) Open Days. 61 years after its first flight, the F-4 remains in service in Europe with Greece, and Turkey.
