MIAMI – Watch how a USMC F-35B Lightning II assigned to the ‘Warlords’ of VMFAT-501 squadron, 2 U.S. Navy F/A-18E Super Hornets assigned to the ‘Vigilantes’ VFA-151 squadron, and a U.S. Navy F-35C Lightning II assigned to the ‘Argonauts of VFA-147 fly in formation over Hard Rock Stadium in Miami during the 54th edition of the Super Bowl. The 3 squadrons were part of the joint-service flyover for Super Bowl LIV. The AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs defeated the NFC champion San Francisco 49ers, 31–20. It was the Chiefs’ first Super Bowl victory since Super Bowl IV and the first NFL championship since Kansas City Chiefs joined the league in the AFL-NFL merger.
