VIDEO – RUSSIA SHOWCASES ‘HUNTER’ COMBAT DRONE ON ITS MAIDEN FLIGHT

MOSCOW – Russian Air Force’s heavyweight combat drone ‘Hunter’ has made it’s maiden flight. The combat drone is designed by Sukhoi, and is said to be able to collect intelligence and to strike enemy targets. The technical specs of the brand new UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) still remain a secret, although some media reports suggest it has a takeoff weight of between 20 and 25 tons and an operational range of 5,000km while being allegedly able to operate at a supersonic speed of 870 mph (1,400 km/h).
