LAGOS, NIGERIA – A man who climbed onto the wing of an Azman Air aircraft – as it prepared for take off – has been reportedly arrested last week. The incident took place at Lagos Airport in Nigeria.
The pilot of the aircaft was preparing for take off, when he spotted the man walking towards the aircraft on the runway. The pilot slowed down immediately and later turned off the engine as the man continued to wander around the aircraft, Azman Air said in a statement.
According to the airline, the man then jumped onto a wing of the aircraft and tried to access the cabin. The pilot radioed the tarmac to report the incident.
The incident happened last week on Friday morning at the domestic wing of the Murtala Muhammed International airport in Lagos.
