MOSCOW – A truck has crashed into a parked Airbus A321 from Nordwind Airlines at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport on May 2, 2019. Both the truck and aircraft were damaged.
It is not clear yet how the collision occured, but according to Russian media, the driver lost control of the steering wheel, due to unconsciousness or the driver probably fell asleep.
There were no passengers in the A321 at the time of the collision. The truck driver suffered injuries, but is out of danger.
The Russian authorities are investigating the case.
