HAWTHORNE, CALIFORNIA – The NASA astronauts are coming home! On Saturday August 1, NASA astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley will depart from the International Space Station aboard SpaceX’s Dragon “Endeavour” spacecraft after their mission aboard our orbiting laboratory. Starting at 5:15 PM EDT, tune in for NASA’s live coverage to see the 2 astronauts undock from ISS and make their return back to planet Earth – splashing down in the sea near Florida in 1 of 7 designated landing sites. The mission is expected to land at 2:42 PM EDT (17:42 UTC), as long as the weather and technical systems co-operate, NASA said in a statement. Live coverage will be streaming on NASA Television on YouTube, with the astronauts landing in one of these locations: off the coasts of Pensacola, Tampa, Tallahassee, Panama City, Cape Canaveral, Daytona or Jacksonville, NASA said in the same statement.
