Massive 17-ship formation Flyover in Phoenix Area for America Strong

F-35 Lightning II’s and F-16’s fly in formation May 1 during a national COVID-19 Total Force flyover at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. The flyover included an aerial review over Luke Air Force Base followed by a morale flyover over Phoenix-Metro to demonstrate local military continued readiness during the national COVID-19 response, while saluting the American heroes at the forefront in our fight against COVID-19. PHOENIX, ARIZONA – Since last week the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, and other military units are performing special flyovers across the country as a show of solidarity during this dreadful corona pandemic. Watch how a massive 17-ship formation of F-35 Lightning IIs and F-16 Fighting Falcons from Luke AFB perform an impressive flyover at the Phoenix area on May 1, 2020 as part of Operation #AmericaStrong, to honor Health Care and Essential Workers fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
