ISTANBUL, TURKEY – Turkish Airlines has managed again to contract Morgan Freeman for the airline’s new advertising campaign. The worldfamous Holywood actor plays the lead role in a new commercial for the Turkish national flag carrier. The theme of the video is Pangea, the supercontinent from which all current continents have arisen.

The commercial – in which Freeman can be seen as a Business Class passenger on board a Turkish Airlines aircraft – has been on YouTube since February 10 and was also broadcasted on American television around the Super Bowl on February 14. In the video Pangea serves as a metaphor for international flight connections as the airline flies to more countries and international destinations than any other airline in the world.

Morgan Freeman often appears in advertising campaigns and commercials. The 84-year-old actor also appeared in a Turkish Airlines campaign five years ago around the live broadcast of the Super Bowl in 2017.
